Bad luck to mention it, but NGD is up 6% despite the weakness in gold today.

It's been a generation since the last true gold mania.

I wonder how long before people start to feel queasy about holding dollars and longer treasuries.

NG/GBU.TO
Faber in his just out Newsletter says he has taken a modest position in NG and GBU.TO.
He says with companies like this you have huge upside potential, with wild volatility, and there is a risk of ending up with nothing but he says he does NOT believe this to be much of risk here as NG(NovaGold) and GBU.TO(Gabriel Resources) both have very deep pockets.Gather Gabriel Resources mines are in Romania.
i asked someone what is the Deep Pockets for NG, and i learned Barrick holds a large position in NG.
NG is not an exploration company digging holes to find gold, the reserves have been established, it is now the matter on starting to get out and refined.
i went to look at GBU.TO and NG i see they both have recently run up over 300% having both plunged into 00.xx.
Cripes NG was once at like 22.

Having seen the parabolic rise i am cautious , thinking there might be be a profit taking pull back.
But yikes NG was at 50 cents i see for 10 days of end November and Early December.
Yikes, if one bought like hell then, now a 700% gain!!

i see the plunge was caused by questioning of financing, when announced they were O.K. kaboom.

i did just take a nibble on NG as it as it a banging on the door of breakout.
i just took 2k shares, was temped to go to 6k, but tend to feel it will pullback, where i would then go to 6k shares or more, depending on decree of pullback IF there is one.
There was 250,000 shares traded just befor 10a.m, on upticking.
This might be because Faber announced he took a modest position himself in NG and GBU.TO (i do NOTn know GBU U.S. ticker---will look up---if it trades in U.S., i want to buy via U.S.) Max
