Nope, it's about hypocrisy. And making it clear that it's such.

No it isn't John, and if the democrats take that road they will govern for a very short time. It is NOT what Obama promised and it does nothing to get us out of the economic slump. The one has nothing to with the other as I said - except that republicans spending spree makes it harder for us because of the mountain of debt.

Let history take care of the "hypocrisy" as it will. Worry about how best to help America today.

it's about hypocrisy.

If Republicans supported a stimulus bill that is so heavily geared toward spending on the social safety net (the House bill), they wouldnt be Republicans. That doesnt even factor in the programs like the contraception program, which while small, are basically an eff you to the Republicans.
