Thank you very much for the sincere compliment.

I didn't take a walk, but I did go out in the garage and unpack three huge crates that I built in Ohio, and which have been sitting there for a week now.

My wife wants to restore two old rocking chairs that belonged to her grandmother, probably Depression Era as they are made from twisted paper instead of wicker. Also, an old crib that her Dad slept in when he was an infant (He's 89 now).

We couldn't find a furniture carton to fit, so I built the crates out of Chinese plywood and cheap fir lumber. One was 48x48x32 and the other was 48x48x24. We packed the chairs and the crib in them, along with the library chair parts that I made while I was in Ohio, an antique set of steel dinnerware, my wife's wedding dress, and some other treasures.

The crates arrived in good time with no external damage, and I had packed everything so well it was as if we had just unpacked it 2200 miles ago.

I can't wait to assemble and finish my library chair.

It looks like this:

Y'know... I'd never heard of an Ekorn chair until you mentioned it the other day. And then just yesterday I saw an ad on TV for them.
