RW, > "Strong President" means making correct decisions.

Is "washing our hands" the correct decision here? I disagree. We're already in the Korean peninsula and we've been there for over half a century now. The entire region is used to our presence, whether we like it or not.

I'm semi-libertarian, but I've always believed that if government is going to do something, it should do it right. That includes a draw-down of troops from Korea. "Washing our hands" sounds like a political cop-out.

"Strong" doesn't just mean beating the crap out of another country.

"Strong" means a president who has the courage to stand behind his commitments. One who can clearly envision outcomes without the cloud of politics distorting his judgment.

Recent presidents who would be considered "strong" are Reagan, Bush 41 and Bush 43.
