To dismiss the idea of climate change by dismissing Gore is potentially dangerous thinking, IMO. Gore and climate change are separate issues.

I did some reading through your links.

The first coms from "Digital Journal". Here's the first sentence.

Al Gore tells critics, when criticized for his exhorbinant <sic> lifestyle, one that includes mansions, private plane flights and a host of other CO2 producing activities, explains that he is actually living a "carbon neutral" existence

Here's Wikipedia's description of digitaljournal.com:
(Redirected from Digital journal)
DigitalJournal.com is a community-based news website covering breaking news stories.Stories are posted by staff writers and members, who are encouraged to comment on and rate other members' stories and comments. It is similar to social bookmarking sites such as Digg or reddit, while including a revenue-sharing model wherby members compete to earn money based on the frequency and rating of their posts and comments.

The second is published by The Capitol Research Center, whose president and EVP come from the notorious (yes, my description) Heritage Foundation. here's a snippet from their home page:
The Heritage Foundation - Conservative Policy Research and Analysis A conservative think tank promoting public policy research and analysis based on free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom,...

The third source-- oh how I love all the trashy red white and blue graphics, is from the Canada Free Press, which proudly claims itself "conservative free press". The first four paras read
There's an elephant in global warming's living room that few in the mainstream media want to talk about: the creators of the carbon credit scheme are the ones cashing in on it.

The two cherub like choirboys singing loudest in the Holier Than Thou Global Warming Cathedral are Maurice Strong and Al Gore.

This duo has done more than anyone else to advance the alarmism of man-made global warming.

With little media monitoring, both Strong and Gore are cashing in on the lucrative cottage industry known as man-made global warming.

While all are stories that include facts, each of these sources are either so politically biased or lacking in professional journalistic standards that they have very little credibility, IMO.

I think we've gotten to the point in this conversation where it's become political, and I'm opting out. I'm not on this thread to argue politics. Or get into an "all politicians are crims" invectathon. I think that's lazy thinking.
