Daschle always rubbed me the wrong way. That soft, plaintive, manipulative voice. Oh.....I am sooooo concerned about the people and their needs. I prefer outright, unapologetic theft from the public coffers....like Randy "Duke" Cunningham than someone who tries to pretend that he is my friend while he things he can BS me to the moon. Make no mistake, Daschle wants to turn the US into a socialist state. Its hard to recover from becoming socialist. Cunningham just wanted to rape it - a bad not not fatal thing.
