I doubt that this arcane discussion is of interest to the thread. No one disputes that war production was higher in 1942 than in 1940, but that's not the point. The point is when was employment in war related activities starting to bring down the high unemployment of the Depression. Those facts are available in the citations I provided that you chose to ignore, perhaps because they don't support your position. To call another person a fool because they don't agree with the wisdom of your position only calls into mind your own stability. I never called you a name, but I do have sticks and stones if you ever show up around here. wg
