I don't see the homogeneous drudgery in the scandinavian countries...but we all like different things.

I see a lot of drudgery in *pure* "capitalism", and a lot of exploitation too, and without safety nets, let's not forget malnutrition and starvation. But of course, if you like safety nets, then you really do like socialism, and it's just a question of how much you like it.

So the question you have to ask yourself is, do you want a country without any safety nets? If your answer is no, then you do like socialism.

Swedes, Norwegians, Danes, Finns, Dutch, etc are turning to alcohol to get relief from cradle to grave health care, education, and worker protection drudgery.
