Testimony done. I'm headed out of Dodge on a 2:20 pm flight. It's snowing like crazy here and I wanted to give myself a cushion for the connection in DEN in case my flight out is delayed. He did invent the carbide lamp, for which King George was so grateful that he knighted Sir Humphry. It revolutionized the coal mining industry. I had relatives in the UP of Michigan who mined iron. I reccall seeing a carbide lamp in one of their houses when I was a wee one.
