What I am trying to say is that the proposed plan is not as bad as the republicans are trying to make it out to be.

It is a starting point. Republicans are given a chance to make it better. It does not seem to me they are trying. It seems like they are trying to score some easy points by making fun of it.

There are people that should know better than to play into the hands of republican law makers.

You have two choices.

1. Sit dwn with paper and pencil and come up with a proposed new plan, or

2. Work with the current plan to make it better.

Taking pot shots at the current plan is easy to do, but does not achieve anything constructive.
