I know that. But fast backward to the 30s and how FDR positioned US so we could enter the war. Guys like Ted and RW would have been with the isolationists in that fight or at least their current rhetoric suggests that. They certainly have taken the isolationist view on the threat the USSR posed to western europe as in who cares? Its one thing to make intelligent criticisms of vietnam, iraq etc. but its quite another thing to revise history back in time to make everything fit the isolationist model. Neocon or Iso---both a danger and the flip side of the same coin.
