Mary;

What percentage do you think is crap?

Most of it.

Everything that is an earmark and not a direct infrastructure expense, I am against. I favor spending on broadband infrastructure, I favor money spent to switch to medical electronic records, I favor money going to upgrade out power grid, I favor money spent on switching over to home produced energy and I favor money going to infrastructure such as roads, bridges tunnels, rails, dam repair etc.

That list for the most part can be supported by moderate republicans.

I do not favor money spent for food stamps, or money spent for family planning or money spent for unemployment benefits, or money spent for ACORN, or money spent on medicaid or money spent on TV converter boxes or money spent on National Endowmant for the Arts, or money spent on to stop the spread of sexually transmitted diseases or money spent on education or money going to the States.

Most of the above stuff can NOT be supported by moderate republicans and more importantly has nothing to do with stimulating the economy - it is just spending money.
