Just looked over TRID.

The balance sheet looks decent, but the operating results
and forward guidance are amazingly bad.

Q3 guidance = $5M revenue, $15M expected loss.
Down from $75M revenue 5 qtrs ago.

This is a tough one - since it begs the question:

Are they becoming obsolete? or just in a tough economic cycle?

Chips stocks are definitely outside my circle of competence.

Anyone else understand chip stocks?

There is a lot of cash here.

I also got very lucky with SNDK some months back. I bought a significant stake at the 15 level just two days before the bid from Samsung hit. Sold the day it opened for trading once the bid was known. It was one of my better trades last year, and in retrospect dodged a bullet if I had held on after that. SNDK management kept saying the 'bid was not reflective of SNDK's value', and now they are talking about diluting the stock near it's lows. The lawsuits should be flying.

John
