Sarah Palin lobbies for bailout
February 1st, 2009 by Rob Natelson
As regular readers of this blog know, I was one conservative who was less than enthusiastic over former Republican presidential nominee John McCain’s pick of Sarah Palin as his running mate.

Some conservatives were unhappy with me, but I see a recent news item as somewhat of a vindication: Palin has joined several other Republican governors in lobbying Republican congressmen to drop their opposition to the Obama bailout plan. This is one of the few times that congressional Republicans have stuck together on a matter of principle, and Palin’s response is to urge them to back down.
