Gary, three major events are coming up in November.....Plus the noise in Asia and from analysts. INTC price cuts.....If they are deep, that may indicate weak demand. Therefore lower spending next year or vice versa. LRCX is going to make a "significant" announcement in the oxide etch business that is supposed to change the landscape of the oxide market share. They said this in their conf call AMAT earnings and guidance. The guidance could go either way. If you are a long term holder and able to handle some potential short term pain....this may be a good entry point for a 1/3 position. IMHO dave
