I think you are wasting your effort there. But yeah, I was listening to some of the efforts on negotiation today. I'm almost to the point where I'd say "Give the republicans everything they want, and then make it clear if the whole thing isn't enough and we end up effed, it's their fault- again." But should we really put the country through more grief just to prove how screwed up republican policies can be? Probably not.
