My view post 9/11 was that bush was more right than wrong for not allowing cost of stimulating american economy was less important than getting stimulation. Now i am in the same place supporting the stimulus here for pretty much the same reason. But this time everything is in one bill and is pretty transparent so even if only 85 billion is pork as obama admits, it is glaring. I hope they make the bill better--it will never be perfect. In any case i will probably support it in the end.

Never was too fond of Daschle anyway. A career lobbyist, he was a poor choice for HHS Secretary.

Actually, he knows a great deal about health care and was an excellent choice.
