Baker, negotiating with Tariq Aziz before The Gulf War.

Bush completely ignored Baker during the last stint as co chair of the iraq study group.

You're changing the subject. Bush responded cordially to the ISG's recommendations, but Bush was president, NOT the ISG. It was Bush's decision, not the ISG's.

And Bush was proven right. He chose instead to follow the advice of Jack Keane, and that is what won the Iraq war. I believe it is clear that Bush made the right decision.

In no way does Bush's decision detract from Baker's accomplishments in foreign affairs.
