Michael, > However this stupidity "We're in South Korea in the first place because the military needed something to do sixty years ago..." just reiterates my view that some of these guys are childlike in their views. We see that from Z and Ted all the time.

Yeah it's one thing to say that we don't need to be in Korea anymore, but it's a whole different level of insanity to rewrite history in a way that satisfies the ultra-peacenik point-of-view.

Make sure when you catch bin laden, you catch him dead.

Tell me why American troops should be in S. Korea circa 2009.

That was my point yesterday when i took flak from al, ted, and RW. I guess folks can have an argument on whether the US should be here or there. However this stupidity "We're in South Korea in the first place because the military needed something to do sixty years ago..." just reiterates my view that some of these guys are childlike in their views. We see that from Z and Ted all the time.

First, I didn't give you flak for any such views...i did only when you accused me of putting my dislike for bush ahead of the good of the country...I have taken too much of that crap from the right wingers on the thread...I wasn't expecting it from you.

Second, I don't have isolationist views...I am very flexible and know instinctively that no absolute form of policy serves us well in all cases....I have seen nothing from both John and Ted to think that they feel any differently, but I will let them speak for themselves.
