Arthur Rock among 28 San Franciscans on Madoff client list bizjournals.com San Francisco Business Times Thursday, February 5, 2009, 12:10pm PST Out of the several thousand names that popped up on the list of Bernard Madoff’s clients, 28 of them have addresses in San Francisco, including venture capital legend Arthur Rock. The list was made public as part of a filing in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, and includes some well-known names, such as Hall of Fame pitcher Sandy Koufax, actor John Malkovich, CNN talk show host Larry King and New York Mets owner Fred Wilpon, among others. The clients in San Francisco are a mix of investment firms, charitable trusts and individuals. According to the Wall Street Journal, the list includes any individual or company that appeared to have been a customer of Madoff’s securities firm up to a year before Madoff was arrested on allegations of running the largest Ponzi scheme ever discovered.
