In Germany and Italy the friendly government helps to pay up to 50% of the cost. In Italy that comes as a deduction against taxes paid. Thus one must have sufficient income over there generating enough taxes to profit from that. Which I don't have at this time.

Now I'm not driven by any kind of money saving or tree hugging motives. For me it's all about getting less dependent so when those leftists fighting nuke- as well as coal fired power plants get what they are heading for, massive energy shortage periods, I couldn't care less.

Paying a premium for that is OK with me.
