Of course. We NEEDED to end up in that war (just as we did the Iraq War).

This nonsense that "war is a last resort" is a great talking point. But the reality is that wars are necessary to solve problems.

You might want to check out your buddy Thomas Jefferson's thinking on this subject.

A "great negotiator" knows that you are best off negotiating from a position of strength and you NEVER, EVER *WANT* to do otherwise. But when forced to, you get the best possible outcome. I believe both Rice and Baker exemplify this approach.

Contrast it with the gross incompetence of Albright. Little else to say on this subject.
