You know, two wrongs etc.....

I would think that if there has been a previous wrong its even more reason to avoid a new one, not reason to go for it with the new one.

To the extent the previous wrong messed things up, we are less able to deal with a new one.

<<<I, myself, am bothered by any argument which seeks to excuse any excess or pork in the stimulus bill by reference to the egregious fiscal sins committed by the predecessor. You know, two wrongs etc...>>>

I am, like almost everyone else, against wasteful, ineffective , and unnecessary spending.

However, we should not be listening to people who have a history of being wrong on what is wasteful, ineffective and unnecessary spending.

People like Mitch McConnell, Sam Brownback, Jim Bunning, Bob Corker, Jim Inhofe , Kay Hutchinson, Mel Martinez, on and on...

We are not talking about these people being wrong once or twice, they have wrong for years and years. They are multiple offenders.
