Tom / All -- for those of us who are not day traders and therefore have no clue about today's closing, how 'bout a little prognostication on the fundamentals of business / marketing plan and products? I'm feeling especially brave this morning and am willing to go way out on a heavily snow covered limb by presenting my best guesses for near term developments . . . part hunch, part DD, and part secret sauce . . . -- n.hand stuff . . . as the announced center piece of IOM's Comdex show . . . -pre-show 'leaks' to various tech writers/reviewers to build a bit of anticipation and wet the palate. These guys/gals love to be stroked with a bit of pre-public info . . . start watching in the next couple of weeks for teasers and previews from them re:n.hand -n.hand turns out to be smaller and bigger . . . drive comes in around the size of a deck of cards and holds, oh let's say, maybe 40 megs instead of 20 - also uses less power than original design. Keep thinking well beyond just digital camera uses, too. -n.hand interface solution is 'brilliant' Zip - tie- ratio remains well above the 5:1 number generally used - production and sales accelerate to the million-a-month range (ca-chinggggg) - steady progression in the number of SKU's w/o 1.44s ZipTops -crystal ball is fuzzy here, but my trusty ole 8 Ball says all indications look good Jaz -'defect' rap fades rapidly as use/quality steadily increases IOM the Company -uses Comdex and 4Q momentum to really kick it into gear for 98 . . . becoming the personal storage solution giant in the hearts and minds of the public and in the mind (it has no heart) of the Street. -previous public tech support problems are converted into a company strength ----- gotta signout and go do a snow check on the mountain, so flame away . . . we could use the warmth!
