I think we need to focus on the impact of Asian turmoil. That is what is roiling the market, not wafer transition issue (which will probably take until 2002 to be resolved). Let's start breaking out company sales by different countries and trying to guage impact of the currency mess on tech infrastructure spending plans. At least we will then be on track with what Morgan's own forecasters are looking at and can possibly make reasonable independent forecasts. A side issue is how much $ strength is going to help Tokyo Electron and hurt AMAT.
