I remember when ThinkingBig stumbled across PLNI back before they had a fire in their plastics plant 4 or 5+ years ago. Sometime thereafter, the company started getting its act together and a bunch of us collected several MM shares each around 0.002 to 0.003. Within six months it went over 0.02+, and I took a detour to the Harley store one afternoon. PlNI shot itself in the tush trying to over-expand and get big too quick the following year, then the insider fiddling and forward split games began - subsequently it crashed. C'est la Guerre. But, as you said, if you can find a few of those nuts before they get ripe - things can get real exciting..!!!

One 'killer' was Healthsouth (HLSH) around 0.06ish when it was in bankruptcy, or seriously close to it. There was no way the Powers at Be in the government and Med industry were going to let a company that size with that many clients just evaporate. They got rid of the books-fiddling CEO, got things rolling, and it blew by $4.50 before it went to the NYSE as HLS; even now $11.

Que: Kenny Rogers playing "The Gambler" softly in the background.......... .. Of course, finding the SOB's is the real challenge, ha ha.... Many late nights of stinky pinky sheets.com data sorting and multiple stock board sputter-surfing required. A separate fudge.com email address for all the pumpity-dumpity WhizBang newsletters and Green-gilled Baron-ista fax-blast bluster was another required cross-check.

:-)
