from techweb.com, maybe Balmer does count explorer as part of thje operating system!!!


What we hadn't known until recently is that Mac users
who install IE are actually installing Windows 95 on
their Macs! Surprising, ain't it? But sure enough, Steve
Ballmer said that there is no difference between the
Web browser and the OS. Internet Explorer is
Windows 95. It's even come to the point where
Microsoft is saying that IE's functionality has been a
part of Win 95 since 1995. I seem to remember people
criticizing Microsoft for not having an Internet strategy
in 1995.

I totally agree with you. It is too bad most here don't know how to appreciate Rod's entertainment value. But I guess it takes a healthy sense of humour to recognize one ! I am glad you saw it too.
