Tim,

I think we are going to see a tight trading band for a while (as we have seen for the past 2 weeks) in the absence of news or a strong direction to the underlying market.

I think news is not to be found because the company is in ongoing strategic partner talks. I cannot predict if they will succeed, but some matters doubtless are on hold in the interim. E.g., CFO. In the absence of news, there is not much to cause movement in the stock.

The 10Q will come out by mid-November, and that will cause stock movement because of whatever information may be contained therein. I'm wondering if management is trying to tie something up before then. At some point in the quarter, speculation as to the 4Q results will move the stock.

Until then, it's a waiting game. At least, as I posted last night,
ASND has performed better than 8 other networkers over the past 2 weeks through 10/23. I will add TLAB when I calculate results for a 3 week period.

>>>ASND is starting to lose its gain this am (what a suprise), are you starting to see my point why you won't see 40 this year?<<<

Point...no, I must have missed it? I'm not concerned with the intraday fluctuations unless I'm trading the stock...and right now I'm having some fun with CYMI (bought more today). I never denied there will be down or flat days, along with the up ones, on the way back to 40. Just like any other security. What is annoying is how my all-important 50dma trendline has slowed like molasses in its descent. That's the catalyst for some positive momentum, and I'm waiting patiently for it to meet the price.

ASND is starting to lose its gain this am (what a suprise), are you starting to see my point why you won't see 40 this year? Tim, This varying opinion is what makes a market. I believe ASND will hit 40 prior to December 31, 1997. I would like to wager 100 shares of ASND on my belief. Here is the offer: If ASND hits 40 or above prior to December 31, 1997 for any reason (no if ands or buts), you must send a certificate for 100 shares of ASND to me. If it does not hit 40, I will send a certificate for 100 shares to you. I have not seen a stock certificate in years but one can still get one. What do you think? Do you accept my "bet"? If you would rather do this on a "gentleman's" wager, that works too<G> Glenn
