I read the telly. Scott Young. The sports newspaper since the 20's. And it had all the local sports too. Covered what people were doing not just national promotional dollar sports. 5 pages of pictures of paddlers on grenadier pond in an ish. today people titter when I saw paddlers, but at one time it was toronto's leading sport. ok canoeing. covered rugby, lacrosse, etc.. lacrosse was more popular than anything. whole communities had wars with each other. toronto against brantford. 50,000 people would show up. great stuff. sports today is a beer belly, a barrel of chips and some dip. superbowl 1500 miles away in the trailer park. everything that people do today is fringe. Scott Young's son is Neil Young the rock and roller boy.

Slimes? Hey slimes are good! I am working on a slimes promo. worked on one in 2003. drilled it myself. Tech problems with grade determination and lack of cash frigged that. Need all the tech ducks in a row and have sufficient determination fease money. Hard to raise money for them as people think they know it all about tailings. Good money in them and cheap, but raising money and knowing what you are doing is a bitch. Too many idiots have failed at weak hand operations and boondoggles. Still the most successful mine in South africa wasa 50,000 tons tailings pond mine at 0.025 ounces per ton. It made 0.02 recovery and 0.015 profit per ton. float, polish grind deoxidize with acid, cyanide con. I think there is acheaper way to recover with gravity tech I have developed. Also I believe there is a cheaper way to deoxidize, that would reduce capex by 75%. I know where there is a million plus ton tailings pond that runs 6 grams. free gold. when I tell people about it, they think it's the same old same old. educating the investor is a glass slope and shark rocks at the bottom, bubi.

Yes mining towns abound. Some decaying. I once lived in Kearns. Now dead. V town ditto. Nice area though. bigpond there. low grade though. nobody thinks that one viable. 50 million tons. if it were would be worth it. probably 1.25 million oz contained. could engineer it to run at 2.50 a ton.

engineering is the key in mining. mines are made. not found.

money is the other key. that is a popularity contest amongst the people who can only guess at it. the trick is not to fool them but fool their fears and chase the bogeyman from their imagination. It is like talking to children about going to bed. you have to tell them that the other children that got eaten by the monster in the dark didn't trust their mommy.
