I think so. But even today, some will blame bush tax cuts for our current woes. Not all provision of tax policy were beneficial but certainly 15% cap gains and dividends gave this economy a post 9/11 boost. And the liberalization of death tax rules, no rational person could object to. Only provision that is legit for debate is end rates for wealthy. In any case tax cuts didnt cause our current woes, it was the borrowing and spending that never stopped which replace tax and spend all of this like in vietnam to enable guns and butter so average american unaffected by wars.
