Politically Krugman may be getting it now. His suggestion that the stimulus plan was too small demonstrated he was tone death as to what is politically possible. You misunderstand Krugman, Steve. The Martin Wolf piece I just posted, the one that argues that the US may well be working with a stimulus plan that is too little, is from an approving link from Krugman. He still believes the stimulus package is too small and badly structured--too many tax breaks.
