I'm less concerned about the pork than I am social programs that are going to become deeply rooted and thus be a long-term drain on the economy.

When you spend a trillion dollars like this--by printing money--there is no free ride. It puts some people back to work and gives them benefits, but it is inflationary. The value of the rest of the dollars in the world sinks.

These programs are going to be money pits from now on.
