I agreed with this statement in its simplest form, while I also consider it poorly qualified.

"While on the other hand the most moral and decent person who does not accept Jesus Christ as their lord and savior goes to hell.

That concept, that philosophy, i find immoral and cruel."

Here are the problems:

1) It is not Christians, who are authorized to condemn non-believers, it is God who is qualified to Judge, and

2) Christianity entitles the adherent to warn others, while having only hope, not absolute assurance of their place in the here after. Who ever makes such claims is profering an opinion at best.

The example you gave, Hitler/6million jews, wherein the slaughtered jews would be sent to hell and whereas Hitler(being a Christian) would be 'saved'... Makes your point that such judgementalism comes up lacking but then that is also what Brumar has tried to point out about your critique in general, so in my mind it back fires on you.

Most Christians would say Hitler disqualified himself for obvious reasons, and that innocent creatures of any sort, would not be bound to hell by a merciful God but then those Christians would also say your condemnation of Christians and Christianity has the same flaws.

3) The lady who showed me the cupboard containing tea bags about 15 minutes ago is my savior, since I was on the edge of having withdrawal tantrum. We all look at that word, 'savior' from some uniqueness in perspective and sometimes people corrupt an obviously decent term for malicious reasons, making a positive outcome for a discussion like this unlikely.
