Shows you how little you know of me and of our government. The President can suggest to congress that it spend money but congress authorizes expenditures not the President. IMO Bush should have wielded the veto pen more liberally and I cringed and got pissed just like everyone else when he didn't. I don't blame Bush as much as I do the GOP. You see, I'm a conservative NOT a Republican.....

History will show that Bush was a good President, if for nothing else, for fulfilling his #1 job priority by keeping this country safe after 9/11. I also think that we can thank Bush when in the future we find the ME a more moderate place.

What can you say of Obama except that he's overseeing the socialization of America.

I have read posts of Geoff complaining about Bush spending. No need to look it up.
