Europe has egalitarian culture. US has not. Poor people -in the US returned to natural size- will get screwed. It is a law of nature. They always do. Look nowhere else. Just keep that idea of poorer people getting screwed. Everything will flow from that fact. Then you will see corruption, criminality, divisiveness inside that society. This US poor people we see today, is new. 50 years ago it was a South Africa without apartheid written into law. But it was there. Then came civil liberties, the 60s and things got more civilized as the poorer peopole got their voices heard. In the coming years, as the poorer people get screwed, without that egalitarian ethos of the Europeans, they will act. The governing elite knows that and have done something at the political level to defuse it. Second, people live a lot based on what they see in their surroundings. Man is a product of the medium. And that medium shapes man. In a US returned to the natural size, infrastructure will crumble as municipalities no longer can run the local governments, this is aggravated by uneven grip on power leaving some places as laggards. That points to pockets of poverty. Is a rule of the nature's law too. It's been happening since the dawn of mankind. As neighborhoods deteriorate, people get used to that visual effect. They become mentally poor. They get used to things not working. This has a terrible effect on the mindset of people. That's why the trillion must go to infrastructure to keep the surroundings from deteriorating. Make no mistake, the US governing elite is clever and know how to deal with their populaces. Asking a Kiwi about those things? Forget MQ because he has not been born and lived in the first, second, third, fourth and fifth world. It is Elmat who knows how the real work is all about.
