Are they? Have you listened to the comments of some of the GOP congressmen lately? Talk of becoming Taliban insurgents in Congress. Seriously, they see themselves has terrorists fighting the good fight. In fact, I think the people on this thread are more sane. The Republican have been reduced to the "Limbaugh wing". It's taking a while for the country, and the politicians to realize how small that group really is. When they do these guys won't be able to get a minute of airtime. It's the first batter of the first inning of a big change in this country. We're just getting our sea legs after many years. Have patience.
