Someone said yesterday that the GOP was back at what it does best---being an opposition party. Same person said dems sucked as an opposition to bush--how could they not with pelosi and reid. I am interested in seeing what bill finally gets passed in the senate and whether we can get closer to 70 votes than 60. One thing i will say is that this reliance on tax cuts by tge GOP is dumb, dumb, dumb in this demand side catastrophe. Supply is there. Clothes are on the shelves. Houses are for sale at cheap prices. Cars are being given away. What we need is a dose of confidence that the US is not going to go into depression. Recovery bill starts that as well as safety net increase. We should also address health care soon--it wont work as is and a radical solution needed there as well. Hell, where do i got to join the Communist party comrade.

I believed you, or at least didn't think you were deliberately lying, but I wanted to see in what context he said he was supposedly running for office. Excuse me, but you asked for link.....you didn't ask for the context. I see. You're above it all. Must be nice. In times like these, it helps to have a level of disconnect, especially when neither side in Washington "gets it." What makes you so sure neither side "gets it"?
