People forget....we went down 90% in the 30's, and japan went down about 90% too....just took longer for them. Which brings up a question....which way do you think is better? Quick collapse or drawn-out collapse?

Japan hit 20-30 year lows.

The dow was under 850 in 1982.

I know, I know....it can't happen again....and real estate can't go down....and it's contained....and the tooth fairy is coming tonight.

The dollar is still rather strong compared the reality that we cannot repay our debt. Something will have to give, and that give will have to be at least 50%. Either our wages go up 50%, or barring that, the dollar down 50%.
