Obama tries to achieve, what he gets passed and whether it works. I don't see him shying away from what he thinks is right in that campaign. Obama absolutley did not promise a return to social engineering during his campaign. Much of the crap in the stimulus plan was never promised by Obama. The folks who want to mark Obama's 2 1/2 weeks in office so far as a precarious failure are just giving into melodrama, the way I read the situation Agree, I pretty much said the same when I said he is a fast study and will correct. The problem from the stimulus plan is not from Obama - I believe it is Pelosi and the rest of the congress who are reinventing a stimulus plan with a bucket of social ideas. Do democrats ignore the poll results of the stimulus plan?
