brooks and i share many views. sometimes his articles are very dry but his points hold up. Opposite brooks was Krugman who also is interesting to read. Man is he partisan though but i think he gets the 30s more than typical lefty dems and certainly more than the right wingers.

anecdotal evidence. Last week i booked a march vacation to Aruba and took a house in NC outer banks for family. I had put both off when markets crashed in Fall. Suddenly i realized by income was secure. Why should i change my behaviour over 15 grand. Yuh think maybe folks will begin to behave like this, esp after passage of stim?? Gets the d out of decession and it becomes a recession. People hurt but people who dont hurt go on living more or less the same. Thats the key different. Total buyers strike this time.
