I wasn't talking about Hong Kong but Intel sneezing and the chips stocks catching cold...Wall Street has always been quick to write off the chip stocks at any sign of a slowdown. Of course, they have been doing this incorrectly for years.

Doesn't it worry you when the "investment pros" on CNBC and other media are almost unanimous that investors should sit tight? When kids from Merrill Lynch (labeled "foreign markets investment strategists") tell you what a wonderful opportunity the Hong Kong market is right now? When INTC threatens to break down below its 200-day MA (now at 80 according to my chart)? When after being in an uptrend for over 400 days, according to Decision Point (on AOL), INTC is now flying warning flags hinting at a SELL signal?

Where do I stand in all this? I have gone from 100% invested to 75% by selling yesterday and the day before -- including my entire position in DEC (seemed like it had run up to an overbought position lately). I have no position in INTC but have been lurking here ever since the second quarter earnings warning, but I think it is a great company. As to possibly going long on INTC, I will be looking to see where if it makes a stand, here or perhaps in the 70 support area.

Charlie.
