I think Sarkozy just wants to QUIT...LOL I can't blame the guy. An economic downturn in France means a million people will be hitting the streets demanding higher wages. The French people are like one big Teamsters Union. If they don't like the way things are going then they are going to flip some cars and burn some stores. Being President of France would be like perpetually being Mayor of Detroit. I think you're right about us and the Russians. The Russians seem to be signalling that they are willing to play nice on Afghanistan and maybe even Iran if we will play ball on what they want. It might be an offer that Obama can't refuse. As far as the Europeans....can they ever come to a consensus on ANYTHING?
