I'd like to know the answer to a similar question.

Why are Tiger Woods and Obama always considered black by the left when Obama is half European and Woods is half Asian?

Maybe Woods got his golf talent from the Asian side of the family and Obama got his boneheaded economic ideas from his liberal mother. ;-)
