Wow! Very thought provoking... reminded me that Eisenhower once warned us about the "military industrial complex" and the permanent war economy... It also reminded me of what my dad once explained to me... that only the young are drafted because older men are too smart. "Take that hill, soldier!" the officer orders, and the young soldier without question does as told. The older soldier, on the other hand, looks at the officer, and says "What? Are you nuts? I could get killed!"
