Precisely. I like i-node's defense, though. It is natural, nothing can be done. The real reason these things happen is that we forget the lessons learned and fall back into the old ways of doing things. And that leads to these sort of problems.

Uh-huh.

All Bush's fault.

No president in history has been able to control the economy in a substantial way. Yet, Bush should have done it.

Congress can enact legislation that helps or hurts the economy. All the president can do is affix his signature.
