Same thing with Ballmer. Now if Steve Jobs said something, I'd pay a little more attention.

Ballmer at least has his finger on the pulse of the economy. You can disregard his solutions but it's hard to disregard his assessment.

By the way, everyone knows how Apple sends teams into communities to see how people use products. One rumor I heard, though, is that the interface ideas of Windows Vista was based on a focus group of 12 people. Could be an exaggeration, but there's probably an ounce of truth in it.

Hence my comment about how Ballmer should focus more on Windows 7.


I own AAPL, I don't own MSFT. Enough said.
