Yes, we call that the universe.

Yet we have the concept and evidence of unlimited wholeness, of infinity, and of eternity.

This on the other hand is New Age nonsense. Concept, yes. Evidence, no.

I think it's human nature to have a sense of wonder, amazement and humility about the universe and our place in it. From that trait comes religion, art, science... It's a good thing, something that has helped us survive.

The mistake people make (in my opinion again) is to think the universe is as they feel it is. Those are two very different things. A longing for purpose and eternal life is not the same thing as evidence of purpose and eternal life. But the longings in themselves inspire us to do great things. They help us to survive as a species...
