the bare minority doesn't have a clue what they're advocating So true. Most are indoctrinated with the idea that democracy is an ideal, therefore anything done under that label is legitimate. Try to explain why the Constitution was written to preclude mob rule -- that this is (was) supposed to be a Constitutional Republic and watch the slack-jawed blank stares. Increasingly convinced that John Dewey and pals, then the NEA, are at the root of US troubles.
