TARP was the bailout by Friday deal

The last stimulus were the checks you received starting back in May, a lot of good those billions did...

TARP wasn't supposed to be a stimulus, it was to keep the financial system from collapsing. The jury is still out on whether it did that or not. So far, though, it seems to have worked, despite the banks rewarding themselves with our cash.
