I take your point and there is much logic to it. I am just not so sure. World awash in oil because of lack of demand (bad) may become world awash in oil even with demand as oil states try to get revenue by pumping more. Also low gas price stimulative for business and individuals with more disposable to spend. Perhaps low gas, passes the pain from our consumers to the producer nations for a time.
Not sure.


What I am saying is that lower oil prices means things are getting worse. OPEC [aka the Saudis] has cut back oil production and the world is still awash in the stuff. I am happy with oil at $40 and a fill up costing me $32.
